Iconic alloy frame

Stiff and Responsive is the best way to describe the Galileo. The main frame is constructed from Aluminum 7003 T6 tubing and the carbon fork, bars, and seat post keep it from beating you up when the road gets rough. A perfectly balanced bike.

Built-up with Campagnolo 10-speed components

The Campagnolo Veloce groupset is much more than Campagnolo’s entry level groupset. Veloce’s performance exceeds its competitors in every way. With trickle down technology from higher end groupsets, Veloce is known for its versatility and mechanical precision. This generation features lighter skeleton brakes and an Ultra-Torque crankset, both of which are far superior to their more modern counterparts. Ultra-torque is smoother, lighter, and infinitely easier to maintain than Power-Torque, which be appreciated on a stellar frame such as this.

Strong and light wheels complete the package

Period-correct Campagnolo Vento G3 wheels complete this build. The medium profile rim is 24 mm and features machined brake tracks to improve braking quality. They also have eyelets for greater resistance to spoke tension and durability for a heavier rider.  “An entry-level wheel with top-end quality.”

Hand-built in Italy

The build is completed with Italian Deda bars and stem and fizik bartape. This frame is 100% built in Italy, not Taiwan, Korea, or mainland China like Pinarellos today.
