Ibis Sonoma— $2,500 $2,250

“The best union of tradition and technology, of performance and comfort.”

Just take it from the builders

We Ibis folk probably spend more hours on our Sonomas than any of the other bikes we make. That's because we've got a bunch of roadies here, and also because we've got a bunch of beautiful roads to ride. Little or no traffic, plenty of climbing, big views, year round riding, and giggle inducing descents. The Sonoma is the best union of tradition and technology, of performance and comfort. From it's exquisite welds to its instinctive handling, this ride-all-day bike climbs superbly, descends flawlessly, and most of all, keeps coming back for more.”

Built-up with Campagnolo 10-speed components

The Campagnolo Daytona groupset was what is now known as Centaur (before Centaur replaced Veloce). Daytona’s performance exceeds its competitors in every way. With trickle down technology from higher end groupsets, Daytona is known for its versatility and mechanical precision. The only reason they changed the name to Centuar was to avoid legal trouble with Nascar. This group features a Campagnolo Daytona square taper bottom bracket, which while not as light as some outboard bottom brackets, is notoriously smoother.

Full group includes Daytona hubs

Hand-built in-house by master wheel-smith, Michael Johnson, the Campagnolo Daytona hubs laced with DT spokes to Mavic Open Pro red anodized rims make for a wheelset like few other. Light and snappy to compliment this frame, yet with a high enough spoke count and expert construction, to make for a solid and dependable wheel. You’re not going to see a pair of wheels like that on any other bike at this price-point. A throwback to when a groupset included the hubs to build the wheels around.

Hand-built in the USA

This steel frame is hand-built in the USA from Dedacciai Moron Tubing, manufactured by the original Ibis Cycles before their production moved to Asia. This is a unique bike you won’t find too many other places. A carbon fork lightens up the front and smooths out the bumps. Includes Campagnolo Daytona pedals to match the groupset.

Seat Tube 56.5cm -- Top Tube 56.5cm

We also have a similar build of a 55cm Ibis Sonoma here.
