Does that sum up ‘cross? Well, that sums up what this bike is capable of commanding. The Ciocc Volpe is a thoroughbred ‘cross racing bike, build from a light and strong full carbon frame and fork. This bike would also make an awesome gravel bike!

Cantilevers... yes cantilevers

Outfitted with a Campagnolo Veloce cyclocross-specific groupset, this build features cantilevers. Yes, cantilever brakes... not discs. Discerning ‘cross racers are aware of the many benefits of running cantilever brakes. In fact, if it weren’t for sponsorship obligation, many of the world’s top ‘cross racers would still be riding cantilevers, no doubt. The SRP cantis have excellent stopping power and modulation, and are way lighter than any disc set-up. The limited edition ‘cross specific Veloce group is a great find too. Campagnolo’s CX specific crankset features extra seals to keep out the grit and grime and is a rare find.

Clinchers for everyday riding

Campagnolo’s ever-reliable and wider Khamsin wheels make this a robust build that can take anything you throw at it, from the mud and sand of ‘cross, the grit and grime of gravel racing, or just the abrasive dust of the cinders on our local railtrails. If you are planning to race ‘cross we also have some tubular wheels built for this bike that would be the best for that application.

Finished with class and durability

The build is finished with alloy Deda Elementi flared gravel bars, stem, and post for maximum durability. These bars can take a hit! A fizik Arione saddle matches the orange color scheme perfectly (we also have an orange Antares available if that better suits you).
