Wheelfine is a fixed gear paradise!

When we joke with Wheelfine’s owner Michael about how he rides 90% of his miles on his track bike (with one gear,

of course) he asks, “how many gears at a time do you ride with your road bike?” Good point! Fixed gear cycling

certainly is a way of life at Wheelfine. How many shops do you know of that have a fixie only shop ride?

Besides its intended use for track racing, the fixie, as it’s come to be called, has always been accepted by fit racers as

a way to hone indispensable skills, pedal stroke souplesse, and great fitness. Riding a fixed gear on the road forces

the rider to achieve a quick cadence, to attack short hills, to take advantage of the terrain, and get’s the rider

more directly in touch with the machine they are riding.

United States, number one in New Jersey!
