Pair the Columbus triple-butted Airplane tubing of the mainframe, with a full carbon fork and you have a fast bike that you can ride everyday without feeling beat up yet race to victory on weekends! The Airplabe tubeset is composed of radically thin seatstays and 27.2 seatpost complemented by oversized downtube and chainstays, “resulting in an extremely comfortable but mechanically efficient lightweight racing bicycle that is fast enough to ride hard on, but versatile enough to transform into a performance-commuter.”

Built-up with Campagnolo 10-speed components

The Campagnolo Veloce groupset is much more than Campagnolo’s entry level groupset. Veloce’s performance exceeds its competitors in every way. With trickle down technology from higher end groupsets, Veloce is known for its versatility and mechanical precision. This generation features lighter skeleton brakes and an Ultra-Torque crankset, both of which are far superior to their more modern counterparts. Ultra-torque is smoother, lighter, and infinitely easier to maintain than Power-Torque, which be appreciated on a stellar frame such as this. With it’s mostly aluminum construction, Veloce is the perfect build for a crit bike; it can be crashed on without suffering the catastrophic damage that would be done to expensive carbon components.
