A relic from the early days at Wheelfine Imports

At Wheelfine, we’re prone to hang onto stuff. That’s why we have so much NOS inventory. This Marnati might be the longest holdout, and we expect it to go to a fitting customer who will love and appreciate this incredible bike. Of course it’s handmade in Milano, Italy at the shop of Umberto Marnati and is one of few pieces to make it over to America.

We’ve built it will period-correct Campagnolo Record Pista components. All Nuovo Record Pista group (with a Super Record chainring), Campagnolo Record High Flange track hubs laced to Fiamme Red Label rims, tied and soldered spokes of course. A Cinelli bar and stem, a Campagnolo Nuovo Record seat post, and Cinelli Unicanitor saddle finish the build.

The paint is a white that has aged to an eggshell light blue. More photos are available to see closer details of the patina of this NOS classic. Fork is drilled for a brake to go Pista per Strada.
